Frequently asked questions

Is the converted Word file really editable?
Yes. You'll get a standard .docx you can open and edit in Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Apple Pages or LibreOffice.
Do you keep or upload my PDF?
No. The conversion runs entirely in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to a server.
What about scanned PDFs?
Scanned pages are handled with built-in OCR (English). Text is extracted from the images in your browser and added to the Word document. Complex handwriting or low-quality scans may reduce accuracy.
Will the layout look identical to the PDF?
We preserve paragraphs, headings and page order as closely as possible. Complex multi-column layouts, embedded fonts or tables may shift slightly in the .docx.
Is there a file size limit?
No hard limit — very large PDFs simply take a bit longer since everything is processed on your device.
